What SKU Clear tracks, and why
SKU Clear exists to answer one question fast: is this product actually ready to sell through this channel, and if not, why not? Everything else in the app supports that answer.
Vendors & suppliers
Start here. This is your list of who supplies what: ingredient suppliers, co-packers, distributors. Every ingredient you log later points back to one of these, so you can always answer "everything we get from this vendor" in one click.
Base ingredient sets (optional)
If several products share a base, like a cold brew or broth base, define it once here and attach it to every product that uses it. Update the vendor or ingredient list in one place and every product using that base stays current. Only ingredient names and vendors are stored, never quantities or ratios, your formulations stay yours.
Products (in the Manifest tab)
Each product is a SKU: its type (frozen or shelf-stable), its pricing tiers, any base ingredient sets it uses, plus its own additional ingredients (each linked to a vendor), and its pack sizes, each with its own UPC, weight, dimensions, and shipping notes, since a 6-pack and a 30-pack aren't the same shipment.
Channels (in the Manifest tab)
Where you sell: your own site, Faire, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, anywhere. Each channel has its own rules, some won't take frozen product, some require a UPC, some are invite-only for certain product types.
The manifest table
This is where products and channels meet. Every product gets checked against every channel's rules automatically, and stamped ready, missing something, pending approval, or blocked outright. Click any stamp for the exact reason.
Reports
Once vendors, ingredients, products, and channels are entered, this tab lets you slice across all of them: everything from one vendor, everywhere one ingredient is used, every channel one product is eligible for, in any combination.
Suggested order if you're starting fresh: add your vendors first, then add products and their ingredients (linking each to a vendor), then add your channels, then check the manifest table for anything stamped missing or blocked, then use Reports once there's enough data to make filtering useful.

Add each SKU here: its type, pricing, ingredients (linked to a vendor), and pack-level weight, dimensions, and UPC.
Channels
Add each place you sell, and what it requires. This is what drives the manifest table above.
Vendors & suppliers
Ingredient suppliers, co-packers, and distributors: one list, tagged by type. Add vendors here first, then link ingredients to them under each product in the Manifest tab.

Certifications and documents
